When the idea for Playing Lean first came to Simen back in 2013, the goal was to make a game that would teach people Lean Startup in a fun way. We never thought that this idea would later grow in what it is today – a second release and a large Playing Lean community.
After the game was sold out in more than one thousand copies, the only thought we had was that the next release had to be even better and more valuable to the community. This is why we, amongst other things, partnered up with Alexander Osterwalder, one of the great minds of Lean Startup and inventor of the Business Model Canvas.
The goal remained the same – a game that teaches Lean Startup in a fun and engaging way. A Kickstarter campaign was launched, and it was a big success. The game was funded in only 14 hours, with over 230 games sold in the campaign and many pre-orders to follow. The support was overwhelming and it was critical that the finished product was perfect.
Now that the hard work has been done, we can proudly say that Playing Lean 2 is officially launched!
PLAYING LEAN COMMUNITY DAY 2018
